WAYS TO MAKE A GIFT TO HISTORIC SAVANNAH FOUNDATION

Unrestricted gifts support HSF’s general operations and immediate needs, and it is the most comprehensive way to support HSF. You may also designate your gift to a particular area, such as HSF’s Revolving Fund or its Davenport House Museum. As a leading nonprofit cultural and preservation institution, HSF relies on contributions from friends like you are committed to our mission to save buildings, places, and stories that define Savannah’s past, present, and future.
MEMORIAL GIFTS
A memorial gift to HSF is an especially meaningful way to recognize or remember friends, family, and/or special occasions. Remember someone special by giving a gift in their name to HSF. An acknowledgement will be sent to the family of the person being remembered. On the “Donate” page, please indicate the name of the person being remembered. If you would like for HSF to send a notification of your kindness to a loved one, please provide the name and address in the “Additional Comments” section. For tax purposes, you will receive a receipt acknowledging your generous gift.
HONORARIA
Do you have a loved one or friend who adores Savannah? Give a gift in their honor to HSF! We will send an acknowledgement of your gift to the honoree to recognize your generosity (the amount of your contribution will be kept confidential unless you request otherwise). At checkout, please be sure to include the name and address of the honoree. You will receive a receipt acknowledging your generous gift for tax purposes.
OTHER WAYS TO GIVE GIFTS OR APPRECIATED SECURITIES
HSF accepts gifts of appreciated securities, such as stocks and mutual funds.
MATCHING GIFTS
Multiply the impact of your personal support for HSF by submitting a completed Employee Matching Gift Form from your company or organization. If your employer offers a matching gift program, request an Employee Matching Gift Form. Simply include the signed, completed form with your gift to HSF and we’ll take care of the rest.
ANNUAL PARTNERSHIPS
Annual partners of HSF enjoy year-round access to our many programs and events, as well as promotion and recognition on our website, in print items, and more! Partnerships are available at several levels to maximize our donors’ goals.
By making a gift to HSF, you help ensure that our programs continue to grow and thrive while you gain a valuable tax deduction and the satisfaction of knowing that you’re making an impact in your community. Any amount you wish to give will help us to achieve our mission. No gift amount is too small.
